    Welcome
Yeah, welcome. I hope you'll have as much fun in this minimal 2D environment as you had visiting the many worlds we've all built together.

    Welcome back, even.

    Whispers
You can make your posts readable by a particular person only. It's like in a chat, but, well, in a forum. Or like a private message, but, er, in a public place. Just type the nickname of the person you want to whisper to, it's easy.

    Text format
There are several ways to format your posts. You can type like you would in Notepad, and the result will be the same : simple text. You can also use BBCode if you're used to it, most forums use this syntax. HTML is also an option (for people who know HTML, of course). My favorite is the Textile syntax. Give it a try, it rocks.

    Videos
You can include Google or YouTube videos in your comments. You'll need to format your comment in HTML and use the <video> tag.

    For Google Video:
    <video type="google">docid</video>For YouTube:
    <video type="youtube">video id</video>
docid and video id stand for the numbers and/or letters at the end of your video's URL.

    Avatar
I know, this is pretty cheap compared to what we used to call an avatar, but even here you can have one. Have a look under the account tab: upload a 32*32 picture somewhere then link it, and you're done. A wonderful icon will now appear next to your name each time you'll post something. Great, isn't it?
Note: please avoid linking to png images which are more than 32*32, it causes problems with the layout.

I also installed an extension which allows you to directly upload avatars & account pictures on the server, use it if you don't know where to host your files. Be careful with png, they seem to be rendered totally black when uploaded.

    Who's at the beach?
You can check the whole users list here.

    Who is who?
Take a few minutes to add your personal summary in the who is who discussion. Please do not write anything there but your summary, start a new discussion if you want to have a real, er, discussion.

I suppose you have all noticed there are icons next to some discussions titles. So...

    What do icons mean?
